Surf Life Saving WA:

The Surf Life Saving movement was formed in WA in 1909. 20 years later, following numerous Surf Club openings in WA metropolitan and regional areas, Surf Life Saving WA was formed as a governing body to support and advocate on their behalf.

Now, WA has 31 Surf Life Saving clubs established along the WA coastline, working tirelessly to keep WA waters safe.

Annually, enex works with Surf Life Saving WA, providing mall space and carts in hopes of raising much-needed funds for SLSWA.

City Beach Surf Life Savings Club:

Formed in 1924, City Beach Surf Life Saving Club Is the most accessible beach from Perth CBD. Providing patrons with volunteer surf rescue 6 months of the year, City Beach Surf Club ensures the water and beach safety of beach-goers from the Swanbourne Rifle Range to the Floreat Groyne.

enex has recently supported City Beach Surf Club with the supply of furniture for the newly refurbished club house kiosk.

Cancer Council Western Australia – Daffodil Day:

Daffodil Day is one of Australia’s best known and most popular fundraising events. The vibrant yellow of the daffodils represents hope and a continuing fight against cancer.

Uniting Care West – Food Rescue:

enex hosts Food Rescue, whereby volunteers from around Perth, including enex assist in collecting food donations from a variety of food retailers in Perth CBD.

Food Rescue is a Uniting Care West program feeding disadvantaged people in Western Australia.It aims to alleviate hunger by rescuing perishable, fresh and nutritious food from cafes, caterers, supermarkets and wholesalers, delivering it to people in need.

The program assists a variety of people, including those experiencing homelessness, women and children in crisis, vulnerable young people, indigenous communities, elderly people, refugees and new arrivals and families on low incomes.

Starlight Children’s Foundation:

Starlight Children’s Foundation works towards brightening the lives of seriously ill children, young people and their families – Australia wide.

Starlight is the only organisation to have a permanent presence in all major children’s hospitals around the country. Their programs are available 7 days a week, offering a medical-free haven for sick kids and young people, seeking a break from the relentless cycle of medical treatments and procedures.

In addition to the wonderful hospital facilities Starlight offer and outreach programs to rural regions, they also have a Wish Granting service. An opportunity to make the impossible happen for seriously ill children and their families in hopes of lifting spirits and bringing families together.
