Australia’s top athletes, fashionistas and creatives are converging on enex to deliver an unprecedented style workshop series in Perth. The enex Style Series brings fashion, food and lifestyle leaders together for the first time, to share invaluable insights into the daily habits, goals and personal inspiration that have made them successful.

Commencing Friday 21 October, across three weeks, we invite you to spend your lunchtime or evening finding inspiration for your style, home and life.

The first 30 to book for each session will receive complimentary refreshments and style series gift bag.

Perth-born Claire Fabb is a stylist, digital editor and founder of Style By Yellow Button, based in Sydney. Fabb was drawn to fashion from a very young age. Claire’s formative years were spent working in retail; a rite of passage and training ground for any accomplished stylist. Upon completing a Bachelor Degree in Business, Claire moved to the corporate world to pursue a career in sales and marketing. It was not until after her two daughters were born that the pull of the fashion world became too great and so in 2009 Yellow Button was born. With just the right mix of innate creativity and savvy business acumen, Claire has become one of Australia’s most sought after stylists today.

Slightly Garden Obsessed’s creative director, Mon Palmer, is Perth’s premier landscape and outdoor design specialist. She will be joined on stage by amazing floral artist Sheridan Tjhung’s. Both Mon and Sheridan are exciting creative leaders in their respective fields. Known for pushing the boundaries, being highly experimental and non-conforming, this is sure to be an interesting session with everything and anything possible.

While travelling through Europe and living in London, Mon became obsessed with the ways in which city inhabitants lived in and invigorated their space. Taking the plunge to follow her dreams, Mon studied landscaping, horticulture and garden design when she returned to Perth and subsequently launched her own design company Slightly Garden Obsessed. With a penchant for creating and curating clean, modern and unique outdoor spaces, Mon has quickly become a leader in Australian exterior design. Hear Mon reveal her decor and design secrets!

Sheridan Tjhung –Florist:  Recognisable for her experimental approach to flowers, Sheridan Tjhung’s appreciation for design has seen her portfolio rapidly expand with an impressive list of clients, including Perth based Artist Stormie Mills and Jessica Gomes for David Jones. Specialising in one-off floral art installations, Sheridan’s unexpected arrangements highlight the beauty of the flowers, underlining her ultimately romantic style. Despite being one of Perth’s newest florists, her brand continues to blossom, testament to Sheridan’s unpredictable approach to her industry. Sheridan brings her floral expertise to enex!

Fox & Rabbit

The adventures of Fox & Rabbit began in a narrow laundry with founder and Creative Director, Rebecca Const, in 2010. The then 19 year old has grown the business to a team of 5 staff with more than 700 weddings and events tucked snugly under their floral belt. Rebecca will demonstrate how to create a floral table garland for that perfect lavish dining experience and how to bring a unique sense of style to your home. This is a session not to be missed!

In 2010, Rebecca set her florist dreams in motion within the confines of her parents’ laundry room. Rebecca spent days on end in her pyjamas passionately snipping & arranging bundles of blooms while nestled between baskets of school uniforms and socks. Fast forward to 2016 and Rebecca is one of Perth’s most sought-after floral artists for weddings, editorials and publications. If her creations invoke a sense of deja vu, chances are you’ve spied her work in leading online and print publications like Hello MAy, Nouba & The West Australian.

From the sporting fields to the front bar, all these men have achieved amazing things in their lives. Hear about their personal style and what drives them in their everyday lives.

Brant Garvey

Brant Garvey: Paralympian Triathlete: Paratriathlete Brant Garvey was the first Australian above knee amputee to compete in an Ironman Triathlon, setting a world-record time in the process. The event consisted of a 3.8km swim, 180km ride, 42km run – a massive undertaking for any athlete. An inspirational individual with an incredible outlook on the power of the human body, Brant is a seasoned speaker who translates the lessons he has learned in the pursuit of excellence into meaningful and valuable lessons.

Jesse Phillips – Olympian: A five-time national champion in the men’s kayak doubles and an Olympic kayaker, Jesse’s career started when the Western Australian Institute of Sport (WAIS) chose a group of students to attend a physical testing day. Jesse was tested, selected and streamed into Sprint Kayak Racing, finding quick success which lead toward dreams of one day going to the Olympic games. Aside from reaching sporting excellence, Jesse is an up and coming actor having featured in musicals such as Grease, Footloose and Chicago along with a budding film presence with his film credits featuring Woody Island (2010) and The Director’s Cut (2009).

Andrew Bennett: Mixologist & Bar Owner: After working as a lawyer, PR consultant & ministerial media adviser, Andrew realised the career path he had gained the most satisfaction from was his part-time stints in hospitality. Now the owner two of Perth’s two biggest gastronomic hotspots – The Classroom Bar and Lucky Chan’s Laundry & Noodle Bar – Andrew is Perth’s expert in all things shaken & stirred.

Steve Bird – Olympian: Hailing from South Africa, Steve started paddling in second hand kayaks with his brother on his family’s dams in the small farming village of Richmond. Taking up sports such as slalom, downriver, marathon and sprinting at school, Steve discovered his passion for water sports. Having participated in both the London and Rio Olympic games, Steve was the dominant K-1 paddler in the Rio 2016 selection events, winning gold in the 2016 Oceania Championships in Adelaide in February, and again at the 2016 National Sprint Championships the following month. He placed eighth at the Rio Olympics.

George Ford – Olympian: Up-and-coming water polo driver and centre back George Ford recently competed in his maiden Olympics in Rio (2016). Ford started playing water polo at 12 years-old at and placed fourth at his first major international competition at the 2011 World Junior Championships in Volos, Greece. He went on to win gold at his senior international debut at the Danube Cup in Bratislava, Slovakia in 2013. The same year he won silver in the National Water Polo League with his Western Australian team, the UWA Torpedoes. The following year he went on to represent Australia at the World Cup and World League. In 2015 he placed 8th with the Aussie Sharks at the FINA World Championships in Kazan, Russia.
