We all know how the story ends. You’re too busy and have too many emails to get through before you have a lunch break, so you’ll just grab a snack later. It’s common knowledge that skipping a meal isn’t great for your metabolism or brain power so here are some lunch options to help you make a decision, depending on how much time you have to spare.

When you have to grab and go back to the office: Sumo Salad

Get away from your computer screen and get some air. These guys cater for everyone including vegans. The soups are hot, the cold pressed juices are fresh and the salads are filling, with everything from brown rice and quinoa to Thai chicken noodles.

When you want a DIY lunch: Woolworths

Sometimes you just feel like a fresh fruit salad, or making your own avocado wrap. Heading to Woolworths for your lunch is ideal for those days you’re craving something you can’t buy elsewhere. Why not pick-up a few items for dinner while you’re at it.

When you only have 30 minutes but want to stay out of the office: Matsuri

Sit down in the Food Podium with some fresh sushi from this popular Japanese spot. It’s healthy and will keep your belly satisfied for the rest of the day. You don’t have to think too hard about what to order here.

When you just need to give yourself a little break: Greenhouse

A change of scenery during a hectic day can be better than a nap. Ok, I lie, nothing is better than a nap. But Greenhouse is a little urban oasis in the CBD and has bar snacks (try the nachos), salads and burgers to get you through the rest of the day.
