Who said that Dim Sum was only for the weekends? Keep your belly warm with our foodie’s guide to three hearty winter cuisines that are full of flavour.

DIM SUM

Whether they’re steamed, pan-fried or deep fried, dumplings are the solution to your mid-week slump. Mi Shanghai’s Dim Sum menu has all of your favourite dumplings and they even have a dumpling bar with pan friend pork and prawn, steamed prawn scallop and our pick of the season, deep fried prawn dumpling.

The biggest problem will be deciding what to order.

PIZZA

Let’s take a brief moment to reflect on why the gourmet Italian pizzas from Delisio are top of our “winter bites” list. They are fresh! The minimal ingredients on each slice emphasises the flavour, and don’t get us started on the cheese; mozzarella, parmesan, fetta, taleggio, gorganzola, baked ricotta, smoke provola cheese and bocconcini.

SOUP

You’ll be slurping every last drop of these gourmet soups from enex’s latest addition, Slurp. There’s hot and spicy Indian soup, hearty beef goulash with potatoes, roast peppers, marjoram and paprika, plus Morrocan options and more. We’re loving the sourdough bread bowl, because why use a bowl when you can have your soup served in bread?
