For Perth’s fashion faithfuls, September is synonymous with Telstra Perth Fashion Festival.

An annual celebration of style that highlights the best local, national and international trend setters, this year’s 20th anniversary edition of TPFF will bring together designers ranging from the next-big-things right up to household names, across a range of free and ticketed events.

Enex Perth at Fashion Central

Get a head start on the trends poised to take the streets of Perth by storm this Spring and Summer with the Enex Perth runway at Fashion Central. A preview of the hottest new looks from Australia’s coolest retailers, including Gorman, Decjuba, Guess, Nine West and more, this not-to-be-missed free event will take over Fashion Central at 5:30pm on Friday, September 7. Introduce pieces from the catwalk straight into your closet with a post-show shopping party at Enex with exclusive discounts.

International Runway: Bloom

The elegant east will meet the wild west when Indonesia’s king of couture Malik Moestaram shares the catwalk with Perth’s high priestess of punk Rebecca Patterson of 33 Poets fame. Dress to the floral-friendly theme with a pretty printed number from Alannah Hill styled with ladylike accessories.

Future Runway

Want a glimpse into the future of WA’s fashion industry? Future Runway is where you’ll find it. Boasting a lineup of the brightest design talent from fashion courses across the state, Future Runway champions creativity over commercial viability which always makes for compelling viewing. Leave your favourite cocktail dress on its hanger and opt instead for an ensemble with plenty of personality.

Future Runway will take place at Fashion Paramount Optus Stadium at 6:30pm on Wednesday, September 12.

Closing Night

TPFF will conclude its 20th year with a suitably stylish catwalk show that promises to turn heads and set tongues wagging. From Jaime Lee’s hand-embellished couture to Ae’lkemi’s form fitting frocks worn by the likes of Dannii Minogue and Mel B, the garments featured at Closing Night will be nothing short of iconic.
